53.13

brāhmaṃ tridaśasāhasraṃ purāṇaṃ parikīrtyate
likhitvā tacca yo dadyāj jaladhenusamanvitam
vaiśākhapūrṇimāyāṃ ca brahmaloke mahīyate //

(1) *The Brahma Purâṇa*.—Brahma Purâṇa contains 13,000 ślokas. One who writes and gives it away in charity, along with a cow and water, in the month of Vaiśâkha, on the full-moon day, passes his days in Brahmaloka, in happiness.—13.
