yo'yaṃ vaṃśo mahānagre pradagdho vahnisaṃgataḥ ..
praṇaṣṭo havyavāhotra mayā dṛṣṭo mahādyutiḥ .. 19 ..

The parrot said:
“That great bamboo which was burnt in front, in contact with fire—
there the fire-god of great splendor vanished; he was seen by me.”
