Their limbs broken by blows of trees, their joints crushed by maces, / the Dānavas fell upon the earth, and horses lost their lives. // 16
With shattered banners, flags, and poles, with broken axles, yokes, and carriage-poles, / chariots resembling aerial chariots were seen destroyed there. // 17
With elephants, horses, and crushed chariots, / that ground became impassable, as though covered by the Vindhya mountain. // 18
There the gods, along with Gandharvas, Yakṣas, Uragas, and Kinnaras, / repeatedly filled the sky with loud, auspicious shouts. // 19
