yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
sarvatīrthasamā gāvo gīrvāṇaiḥ samalaṃkṛtāḥ /
etatkathaya me tāta kasmād goṣu samāśritāḥ //
Yudhiṣṭhira said:
'Cows are equal to all sacred bathing sites, adorned by the gods. / Tell me this, dear father: why have they taken refuge in cows?'
