sureṣu drohabuddhyāsau mantrārthamiha sāmpratam |
prāptaḥ kāvyo gurusteṣāṃ daityānāṃ vijayāya ca ||

Certainly, this is with the revengeful object of attacking the Devas, for their defeat and for the victory of the Asuras that this Muni has come.
