ekaḥ ko'pi na śāstāsti saṃsāre tvāṃ vināmbike |
spṛhāvatastu kaḥ kartuṃ kṣamate vacanaṃ budhaḥ ||
O Mother! You are the Sole Ruler of this Samsâra; no sensible man can carry out the words of a man who yearns for something. (i.e., O Mother, You are the only one that is desireless; so we can obey your words).
