amṛtotpādane rājankūrmo bhūtvā jagadguruḥ /
mandaraṃ dhārayāmāsa tathā devīṃ vasuṃdharām //
At the production of the nectar, O king, the Guru of the universe, having become a tortoise,
supported Mount Mandara as well as the goddess Earth.
