ekaikaṃ tava devi ! bījamanaghaṃ savyañjanāvyañjanaṃ
kūṭasthaṃ yadi vā pṛthakkramagataṃ yadvā sthitaṃ vyutkramāt .
yaṃ yaṃ kāmamapekṣya yena vidhinā kenāpi vā cintitaṃ
japtaṃ vā saphalīkaroti tarasā taṃ taṃ samastaṃ nṛṇām .. 6 ..

"O Goddess! Each sinless seed-syllable of Yours, / with a consonant or without a consonant, / standing as an aggregate (kūṭastha) or placed in separate succession, or standing in reverse order, / with reference to whatever desire it is contemplated or recited by whatever rite or in any manner whatever, / swiftly brings to fruition that entire [desire] of men. (6)"
