cañcatkāñcanakuṇḍalāṅgadadharāmābaddhakāñcīsrajaṃ
ye tvāṃ cetasi tadgate! kṣaṇamapi dhyāyanti kṛtvā sthirām .
teṣāṃ veśmasu vibhramādaharahaḥ sphārībhavantyaściraṃ
mādyatkuñjarakarṇatālataralāḥ sthairyaṃ bhajante śriyaḥ ..
Those who, having made you steadfast in the heart, O you who have gone into it!,
meditate even for an instant on you who wear dangling golden earrings and armlets, and a fastened girdle-garland—
in their houses, constantly expanding day by day out of graceful sport,
fortunes, though flickering like the flapping ears of an intoxicated elephant, find stability for a long time.
