நன்றுமன்; அதுநீ நாடாய், கூறுதி;

May you live long, O friend! You do not know:
if there were a blemish-free love united with desire
with the lord of the great mountain land, where the sweet smell of kino blossoms
together with wild jasmine dispels the stench
of the red battleground muddy with blood where a tiger fought a spotted elephant
with spotted skin and garlanded forehead,
it would indeed be good; without investigating that, you speak!
If one seeks those without modesty and loyalty,
there is none besides me in this world:
without consulting even you, who are like sweet life,
I transgressed the rare protection of my father of great renown,
who thrives amid kinsmen like bamboo clusters rich with shoots;
and through a deed not regretted afterwards,
I have brought great, unreal blame upon myself!
