This indeed is the world of the gods; it is toward the world of the gods that they lead him upward. They lead up the wife for the sake of completeness. He covers the wife with a garment. The garment belongs to all the deities; he prospers her with all the deities. He summons for the chant. That is his accompanying singing. Then they indeed make amends to him; they advance forward: ‘Protecting you beyond heaven, protect the body of the intermediate space! By the law of earth we follow you for newer well-being.’ In saying this, he says: ‘Do not injure these worlds!’ ‘Protect my out-breath!’ He prays for this blessing for himself. Halfway, they approach a second time and advance forward: ‘Protecting you beyond the priesthood, protect the body of nobility! By the law of the people we follow you for newer well-being.’ In saying this, he says: ‘Do not injure the offspring!’ ‘Protect my through-breath!’ He prays for this blessing for himself. Having arrived, they approach a third time and advance forward: ‘Protecting you beyond breath, protect the body of sight! By the law of hearing we follow you for newer well-being.’ In saying this, he says: ‘Do not injure the vital breaths!’ ‘Protect my in-breath!’ He prays for this blessing for himself. [...] There are bundles of grass; he thereby makes the hair. The potsherds are on both sides; he thereby makes the skull-bones. He places two gold plates on both sides; he thereby makes the two eyes. He places the caru pot behind; he thereby makes the mouth. He places the ladle behind; he thereby makes the neck. He places the two tongs on both sides; he thereby makes the shoulders. He makes the two spoons the arms. To give it a body, the two fans are on both sides; he thereby makes the flanks. In the middle is the receptacle, and there are cords and bamboo items; he thereby makes the belly. Behind he places the two lip-shaped vessels; he thereby makes the lap. On both sides are the peg-stakes; he thereby makes the shanks and thighs. On both sides he places the two fire-shovels; he thereby makes the feet.
