With these very [verses] he makes him prosper. These are indeed his unexpressed praises; with them they praise him. These are indeed his unexpressed praises: 'the light of heaven'. With them they address him. These are indeed his unexpressed names: 'the earthly realm, valor, treasure, the light of heaven'. Thus they make him prosper directly. This world is indeed the Gārhapatya, that [heavenly world] is the Āhavanīya. They depart indeed from this world who, having prepared the oblation in the Gārhapatya [and] having carried it eastwards, proceed with it in the Āhavanīya. Having completed it again, they proceed. With 'You, O Agni, lord of the house…', he attends upon the Gārhapatya. He firmly establishes himself in this very world. […] This indeed is the womb of the waters, for having the same origin. For whomever he desires, 'May I be endowed with fiery energy, may I be endowed with priestly splendor', having removed it for him at the midday pressing, he should proceed with the Pravargya. The Pravargya is indeed fiery energy and priestly splendor; he obtains fiery energy and priestly splendor. If he should employ it, with 'You belong to the Anuṣṭubh', he should make a fourth lump. The Anuṣṭubh is speech; he joins speech at the mouth of the sacrifice. He should have the vessels made in two sets. They should stand until the pressing, so that they do not lose their freshness. He should place [the Mahāvīra] on the fire in the fire-kindler's shed; it should shine in the fire-kindler's shed; it should be set upon [the fire] in the fire-kindler's shed. For at this time his abode is the fire-kindler's shed; thus he places splendor in his own abode. He offers on the high altar fire; the high altar fire is the heavenly world, for the attainment of the heavenly world. In this very [fire], before the purificatory bath, he heaps up the vessels. To the south he pushes near the Āhavanīya fire; he heaps up the vessels. To the west he scatters near the Āhavanīya fire; he conceals the vessels, or they should carry them to an island. That sun is Rudra, the Mahāvīra. He becomes endowed with fiery energy and priestly splendor among men.
