The All-Gods saw this trayastriṃśa stoma. They took it. As to that, they say: 'Which are the All-Gods?' One should say: 'These five deities having assembled become the All-Gods.' The All-Gods sacrificed together with this trayastriṃśa stoma. Because there are thirty-three deities, there are thirty-three worlds of the gods. Thereupon they sat in the firmament, in the heavenly world. They said: 'We have sat in the firmament, in the heavenly world.' Because they said: 'We have sat in the firmament, in the heavenly world,' that is why the Nākasads have the nature of Nākasads. He indeed also sits in the firmament, in the heavenly world, who knows thus. In them both kinds of sāmans are used; for by both one goes to wherever one wishes to go. Among them, those sāmans having the sūvar-refrain and having the light-refrain they prepare—those belonging to heaven for the attainment of the heavenly world and for the prosperity of the forms of the days.
