“In whatever region he is, he becomes the best of it; even kings revere him from below.”
“Just so are you!” they said.
Then they said to Aṣāḍha Sāvayasa, “Since you indeed are the leader of the Śārkarākṣas, by what did you attain this?”
He said, “I worship that in the yokes.”
“What do you worship in the yokes?”
“That which is born.”
“He who worships that which is born among them, what does he become?”
“Wherever he is born among his kinsmen, he becomes the leader there.”
“Just so are you!” they said.
Then they said to Indradyumna Bhāllaveya, “Since your fame moves above and beyond others, and you are indeed an authority, by what did you attain this?”
He said, “I worship that in the yokes.”
“What do you worship in the yokes?”
“Glory.”
“He who worships their glory, what does he become?”
“His fame moves above and beyond others; he becomes indeed an authority.”
“Just so are you!” they said.
They said, “If this was so, come, let us proclaim this together.”
