Regarding this they say: 'One should not over-praise.' Just as one, having fastened a gold ornament, a jewel, a garland, would take it off again, like that it is when one over-praises in the Agniṣṭoma. He wins indeed one of the two worlds; day and night are the whole universe. Moreover, just as one, having climbed to the top of a great tree, would find no way to descend, like that it is when it is an Agniṣṭoma. Because the stotras are descending, this is the complete firm foundation. Because there is an Atirātra, by that he firmly establishes himself upon this [earth]. Regarding this they say: 'They indeed fall away from this world who undertake the Atirātra.' Because the Bṛhat is on Gāyatrī verses, this [earth] is the Gāyatrī; thus he firmly establishes himself upon this [earth].
