te devāḥ prajāpatimabruvan yadi na ṛkto vā yajuṣṭo vā sāmato vā yajño hvaletkenainam bhiṣajyemeti
The gods spake unto Pragâpati, 'If our sacrifice were to fail in respect of either the Rik, or the Yagus, or the Sâman, whereby should we heal it?'
