yáthā vā́taś cāgníś ca vr̥kṣā́n psātó vánaspátīn |
evā́ sapátnān me psāhi pū́rvān jātā́m̐ utā́parān varaṇás tvābhí rakṣatu ||14||
As both wind and fire devour (psā) the trees, the forest-trees, so do thou devour my rivals, those born etc. etc.
