yáthā yáśaḥ kanyā̀yāṃ yáthāsmínt sáṃbhr̥te ráthe |
evā́ me varaṇó maṇíḥ kīrtíṃ bhū́tiṃ ní yachatu |
téjasā mā sám ukṣatu yáśasā sám anaktu mā ||20||
As glory [is] in the maiden, as in this constructed (sámbhṛta) chariot, so let the varaṇá amulet etc. etc.
