yáthā yáśaḥ pr̥thivyā́ṃ yáthāsmín jātávedasi |
evā́ me varaṇó maṇíḥ kīrtíṃ bhū́tiṃ ní yachatu |
téjasā mā sám ukṣatu yáśasā sám anaktu mā ||19||
As glory [is] in the earth, as in this Jātavedas, so let the varaṇá amulet etc. etc.
