r̥távas tám abadhnatārtavā́s tám abadhnata |
saṃvatsarás táṃ baddhvā́ sárvaṃ bhūtáṃ ví rakṣati ||18||
The seasons bound it on; they of the seasons bound it on; the year, having bound it on, defends all existence.
