sū́ryaś cákṣuṣām ádhipatiḥ sá māvatu |
asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́ṃ purodhā́yām asyā́ṃ pratiṣṭhā́yām asyā́ṃ |
cíttyām asyā́m ā́kūtyām asyā́m āśíṣy asyā́ṃ deváhūtyāṃ svā́hā ||9||
The sun (sū́rya) is overlord of sights (or eyes: cákṣus); let him favor etc. etc.
