a̱si̱knyā ma̍rudvṛdhe vi̱tasta̱yārjī̍kīye śṛṇu̱hy ā su̱ṣoma̍yā ||
Favour ye this my laud, O Gangâ, Yamunâ, O Ṣutudrî, Parushṇî and Sarasvatî: With Asiknî, Vitastâ, O Marudvṛidhâ, O Ârjîkîyâ with Sushomâ hear my call.
