dekheṃ kurma jiyāpari |
uvāilā avayava pasarī |
nā tarī icchāvaśeṃ āvarī |
āpaṇapeṃci ||

See, just as the tortoise
spreads out its limbs when it pleases,
or else withdraws them
by its own will,
