وحدثني الفقيه حسين أن أحد أولاده كفر بعد أبيه وطغى وأمر باقتلاع الشجرة من أصلها فاقتلعت ولم يترك لها أثر، ثم إنها نبتت بعد ذلك وعادت كأحسن ما كانت عليه وهلك الكافر سريعا.

The jurist Ḥusayn told me that one of his sons reverted to unbelief after his father, acted tyrannically, and ordered the tree to be uprooted. It was uprooted and no trace of it was left; but afterwards it sprang up again and became as fine as it had ever been, and the infidel soon perished.
