در حام وصل باذهآ اسباب خرمی اوقات عیش ولذت ایام بی غمی هم از نسیم دولت واقبال خوش دلی هم با وصال دلیر خوش روی هم دمی انواع نزهت وطرب وعیش بر فزون اسباب فترت وغم آتیام در کمی اتفاق را سالی امساک بارانها بدید آمذ ، وبرق ونم از هوای خشک باز ایستاذ ، نابیع را ببوست ظاهر شذ ، ومرابیع را خشکی غالب آمذ :

In the cup of union, the wine of delights; / times of pleasure and the joy of days free from sorrow;
Joyfulness also from the breeze of fortune and prosperity; / an intimate too in union with a fair-faced beloved;
All kinds of pleasure, merriment, and delight ever increasing; / the causes of languor and the sorrow of days ever diminishing.
By chance, one year a withholding of rains appeared, and lightning and moisture ceased
