بغایت نا جوانمرد وبی باک . چون دیذ کی زن وبقال هر دو بعشرت مشغول شذند ، وزن از چاذر غافل ماند ، گوشهٔ‌ چاذر بگشاذ ، ویرنج وشکر برگرفت ، وپارهآ خاک در چاذر بست . چون کار بانحام رسیذ وشغل خلوت باتمام انحامیذ ، زن بتعجیل از دکان بیرون آمذ، وراه خانه بر گرفت ، وچاذر همچنان بسته بش دهقان نهاذ . دهقان گوشهآ چاذر بگشاذ ونگاه کرد ، قدری خاک دیذ در وی بسته . گفت : ای زن خاک می بیم . زن چون آن خاک بدیذ ، متحتر ومتفکر شذ . بر بدهه در خانه رفت ، وغربال بیرون آورد ، وخاکها در وی می نهاذ ، وآغاز خاک سختن کرد . مرد گفت :

and tied a piece of earth into the veil. When the business reached its end and the affair
of privacy was concluded, the woman hastily came out of the shop and set off towards home,
and laid the veil, still tied, before the peasant. The peasant untied the corner of the veil and looked,
and saw some earth tied in it. He said: "O woman, I see earth!" When the woman
saw that earth, she was astounded and thoughtful. On the spur of the moment she went into the house, brought out a sieve,
began placing the earth into it, and started sifting the earth. The man said:
