19 داستان دزد وشیر وحمدوبه کنیزک گفت : بقا باذ پاذشاه داذ گر ، وخسرو هفت کشخوررا در داذفرمائی وملکت آرائی ! آورده اندکی در مواضی دهور ، وسوالف سنین وشهور ، جماعتی کاروانیان بر در رباطی مقام کردند ، وهر کس بما یحتاج وقت خویش مشغول شذند ؛ ومالی فاخر وتحملی وافر با آن جماعت همراه بوذ .

19. The Story of the Thief, the Lion, and Ḥamdūna
The slave-girl said: May the just king endure, and the Khusraw of the seven climes in
dispensing justice and adorning the realm! It is related that in bygone ages and past
years and months, a party of caravanners halted at the gate of a caravanserai, and each engaged in what his present needs
required; and magnificent wealth and abundant goods were with that company.
