Yojanaṁ yojanārddhaṁ vā tad-arthaṁ sthānaṁ āśrayet ॥
Abhyarchya vāstu-nagaraṁ prākārādyam tu kārayet ।
Īśādi-triṁśat-padake pūrva-dvāraṁ cha sūryake ॥
Gandharvābhyāṁ dakshiṇe syād vāruṇye paśchime tathā ।
Saumya-dvāraṁ saumya-pade kāryā hatyās tu vistarāḥ ॥
