Observation — It must in fairness be stated that Sharangadeva pandit though he does give that advice, does not expressly say that च्युत म & च्युत सा should be used as substitutes for the अंतर & काकली notes. In his own Raga definitions he says nothing about the च्युत Swaras but freely uses अंतर & काकली. Rama Amatya says nothing in explanation of that in his Swaramelakalanidhi.
