Kamâśvatî—The river Kasâi in Bengal. But see Kapiśa (river). It is perhaps the Kośâ of the *Mahâbhârata* (Bhîshma, ch. 9). Kamśâvatî and Kasâi are separately mentioned in *K.Ch.*, p. 197.
