Damoh.—The Batihāgaḍh Inscription of the Damoh district mentions Kharparas, whom Dr. Bhandarkar takes to be identical with the Kharaparikas, referred to in the Allahabad Pillar Inscription of Samudragupta (E.I., XII, 46; I.H.Q., I, 258; B. C. Law, Tribes in Ancient India, p. 356).
