Daṅguna.—This is the name of a village mentioned in the Poona plates of Prabhāvatigupta (E.I., XV, 39ff.). The plates record the grant of this village situated in Supratiṣṭhāhāra. It lay to the east of Vilavaṇaka, to the south of Śirṣagrāma, to the west of Kaḍāpiñjana and to the north of Sidivivaraka. The ancient village of Daṅguna seems to be identical with the modern Hingaṅghāṭ in the Nagpur district.
