⁵⁶⁴ The com. of खादिरगृह्य says (II. 2. 32) 'वैदिककर्मार्थमेतत् । नामापरिज्ञाने अभिचाराद्यसिद्धिः फलम्' and देवपाल on काठकगृह्य 36. 4 says 'प्रयोजनं परैरभिचारे क्रियमाणेऽनुच्चारादप्रकटम्'.
