²⁶⁶³ Vide Āśv. III. 9. 3. The puronuvākyā is Ṛg. X. 131. 4, the yājyā is Ṛg. X. 131. 5 and the praiṣa to the hotṛ to repeat the yājyā is: 'होता यक्षदश्विना सरस्वतीमिन्द्रं सुत्रामाणं सोमानां सुराम्णां जुषन्तां व्यन्तु पिबन्तु मदन्तु सोमान् सुराम्णो होतर्यज।' (Āśv. III. 9. 3.). It will be noticed that surā is referred to in terms of soma. Śāṅ. says 'सर्वानेके विकृतानामनन्ति। तदु तथा न कुर्यादासुरं तत्'. According to Śāṅ. the adhvaryu recited Vāj. S.
