The Bundelkhand Middle Palaeolithic group is represented by SIHARA, GHATSEMTRA, HASRAI and GONCHI sites, Dt Jhansi, in the Betwa basin (*IAR 1955-6*, p. 68; *1956-7*, pp. 5, 8, 11; Singh, 1965). This group is marked by the survival of the earlier tradition in the Middle Palaeolithic, as is evident from the implements of scraper-point types along with Acheulian tools. However advanced technological features are found in the form of faceted core technique and indirect percussion and punch techniques.
