It is evident that niyata is here used in the sense of «distinct», niyata-pratibhāsa = niyatā buddhiḥ = niyata-ākāra, not in the sense of «limited» niyata = arthena indriyena vā niyamita as in N. b. ṭ., p. 8. 9 and 8. 20, cp. above, p. 505 n. 10.
