1.57

佛告阿難：「爾時父王者，今現我父輸頭檀是；爾時母者，今現我母摩耶夫人是；爾時須闍提太子者，今則我身釋迦如來是；爾時天王釋者，阿若憍陳如是。」

The Buddha told Ānanda: 'The father king at that time was none other than my present father, Śuddhodana; the mother at that time was none other than my present mother, Queen Māyā; Prince Sujāti at that time was none other than myself, the Tathāgata Śākyamuni; and Śakra, king of the gods, at that time was Ājñātakauṇḍinya.'
