1.58

說此孝養父母品時，眾中有二十億菩薩，皆得樂說辯才，利益一切；復有十二萬億菩薩，皆得無生法忍；復有十方諸來微塵等數，皆得陀羅尼門；復有恒河沙等微塵數諸聲聞、緣覺，捨離二乘心，究竟一乘；復有微塵數優婆塞、優婆夷，或得初果乃至二果；復有百千人發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心；復有諸天龍、鬼神、乾闥婆、阿修羅、迦樓羅、緊那羅、摩睺羅伽、人、非人等，或發菩提心，乃至聲聞、辟支佛心。

When this 'Chapter on Filially Nurturing Parents' was spoken, twenty billion bodhisattvas in the assembly all attained the eloquence of delight in speech, benefiting all [beings]; furthermore, one hundred and twenty trillion bodhisattvas all attained anutpattikadharmakṣānti; furthermore, dust-mote-like numbers of [bodhisattvas] who had come from the ten directions all attained dhāraṇī doors; furthermore, dust-mote-like numbers of śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas, equal in number to the sands of the Ganges, abandoned the mind of the two vehicles and realized the ultimate ekayāna; furthermore, dust-mote-like numbers of upāsakas and upāsikās attained the first fruit or up to the second fruit; furthermore, a hundred thousand people aroused the mind set on anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi; furthermore, devas, nāgas, ghosts and spirits, gandharvas, asuras, garuḍas, kiṃnaras, mahoragas, humans, non-humans, and so forth, either aroused the bodhimind or up to the mind of a śrāvaka or pratyekabuddha.
