3.12

爾時如來即入有相三昧，以三昧力令其琴聲遠聞三千大千世界——其音具足演說苦、空、無常、不淨、無我。放逸眾生聞此妙音具足演說如來知恩報恩，久於無量阿僧祇劫孝養父母。一切眾生皆隨聲至閻浮提，往到佛所，頭面禮足，却坐一面。

At that time, the Tathāgata immediately entered the samādhi of forms. By the power of the samādhi, he caused the sound of the lute to be heard far across the trichiliocosm—its sound fully expounded suffering, emptiness, impermanence, impurity, and non-self. When heedless sentient beings heard this wondrous sound fully expound how the Tathāgata knows kindness and repays kindness, having filial devotion toward his parents for immeasurable asaṃkhyeya kalpas, all sentient beings followed the sound to Jambudvīpa, went to the Buddha's place, bowed their heads to his feet, and withdrew to sit to one side.
