"For the sake of sentient beings, they practice great benevolence and compassion, recognize kindness and repay kindness, and cultivate these inconceivable, profound, subtle, and inconceivable marks and signs. Each and every mark and sign can benefit sentient beings [numbering] as many as the dust motes of the great earth across immeasurable hundreds of thousands of koṭis, causing them to generate the bodhi mind. Cultivating and gathering them step by step, they fully achieve the thirty-two marks and signs. Having completed the marks and signs, all are led to proceed to the bodhi tree, subdue Māra, become Buddhas, turn the wheel of the saddharma, benefit sentient beings, cross the ocean of thirst and craving, reach the shore of great wisdom, and accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings."
