From "moreover, ten..." downward: the second level, subsuming them with eight meanings. First: subsuming has the meaning of encompassing and containing; namely, universally delivering sentient beings while appearing without contradiction, and therefore it is correlated with the first abiding of giving rise to the mind. Second: purity and concordance are basically one meaning, and therefore it is correlated with the second abiding. Third: although the three forms and four dharmas are all what one desires to attain, it is correlated with the third and fourth abidings. Fourth is understandable. Fifth: precisely corresponding to the pure mind-ground, it is identical with this abiding. Sixth: precisely corresponding to the ultimate stage, it is identical with this abiding. Although it runs throughout the path of cultivation, it is spoken of in terms of the majority.
