Sixth, in the south there is a city named "Fertile Field" (Pundravardhana), so designated with reference to this kalyāṇamitra who enriches and nourishes [beings] with the moisture of the virtue of wisdom. Because the people possess abundant virtue and great goodness, the name was established accordingly. The elder is named Sthiravimokṣa ("Firm Liberation"), which indicates unremitting pursuit of the Dharma, as he himself states below. At that time, Sudhana went to him, paid homage, and requested what he sought. The elder said, "I have attained the unattached, pure adornment of mindfulness," which indicates that the signless wisdom of the sixth [pāramitā], prajñā, adorns all dharmas; that is, in relation to all dharmas, mindfulness is naturally free from attachment.
