佛告優波離：若善男子善女人，犯諸禁戒、造眾惡業，聞是菩薩大悲名字，五體投地誠心懺悔，是諸惡業速得清淨。
The Buddha said to Upāli: 'If good sons and good daughters violate the prohibitive precepts and commit various evil deeds, upon hearing this bodhisattva's name of great compassion, if they cast the five points of their body to the ground and repent with a sincere mind, those evil deeds will swiftly become pure.'
