即解寶衣嚴身之具以供養佛，白佛言：世尊！如來滅後，我當行法供養，守護正法。願以威神加哀建立，令我得降魔怨、修菩薩行。

"He immediately took off his jeweled robes and personal adornments to offer them to the Buddha, and said to the Buddha: 'World-Honoured One! After the Tathāgata's extinction, I will practice the offering of the Dharma and protect the true Dharma. May you, with your majestic spiritual power, extend your compassionate support to establish me, so that I may subdue the māra adversaries and cultivate the bodhisattva practices.'"
