This follows upon the preceding text: if one embraces the teaching of the Mahāyāna, then none among ordinary beings and sages are not embraced. Thus it becomes the true Dharma, becomes the lineage of the Buddha, becomes supreme, and enters the sacred place of one's own realization. Having attained entry, one can activate function to transform others, establish the Mahāyāna, manifest forms according to their types through the ten powers and fearlessnesses, console their longings, extinguish their afflictions, and expound the Dharma that is in accordance with reality. This Dharma that is in accordance with reality has no distinct appellations and transcends the marks of coming and going; all proliferation of conceptual elaboration is extinguished. However, although this Dharma that is in accordance with reality is the Mahāyāna, one should not adhere to it according to the literal word, for being free from letters is called the real.
