The ninety-third is holding hands on a road. (Formulated because holding hands on a road obstructed other men and women, incurring censure.) The ninety-fourth is the precept against climbing trees. (A bhikṣu observed the rains retreat atop a large tree and defecated and urinated from above; the tree deity became angry and sought to end his life, hence it was prohibited.) The ninety-fifth is the precept against carrying a net-bag on a staff (Upananda put his bowl in a net-bag, hung it on the tip of a staff, and carried it on his shoulder; householders thought he was an official and stepped off the road to avoid him, wherefore it was prohibited). The ninety-sixth is expounding the Dharma to someone holding a staff; the ninety-seventh, to someone holding a sword; the ninety-eighth, to someone holding a spear; the ninety-ninth, to someone holding a knife; the one-hundredth, to someone holding an parasol.
