1.227

大德！眾僧今日自恣，我某甲比丘亦自恣。若見、聞、疑罪，大德長老哀愍故語我，我若見罪，當如法懺悔。（三說。若病比丘，佛聽隨身所安自恣。其告清淨緣及告法，一同說戒。）

"Venerable ones! The community of the saṃgha holds pravāraṇā today; I, bhikṣu so-and-so, also make pravāraṇā. If there are offenses seen, heard, or suspected, may the venerable elders out of compassion speak to me. If I see an offense, I shall confess it according to the Dharma." (Spoken three times. If a bhikṣu is ill, the Buddha permits him to make pravāraṇā as his condition allows. The grounds for declaring purity and the method of declaration are identical to the poṣadha.)
