略自恣法（律言：若有八難及餘緣，聽略自恣。若難事尚遠，容得廣說，應廣說。若難事近，不得三說，當再說；若不得再說，應一說；若不者，如法治。若難事近，不得一說者，諸比丘即應作白：各共三說自恣。作如是白：）

The procedure for an abbreviated pravāraṇā (The Vinaya states: If there are eight perils or other emergencies, an abbreviated pravāraṇā is permitted. If the peril is still distant and permits a full recitation, one should recite in full. If the peril is near and three recitations cannot be made, recite twice; if two recitations cannot be made, recite once; if not [even once], it is to be treated according to the Dharma. If the peril is so close that one cannot make even a single recitation, the bhikṣus should immediately make an announcement for each to make three utterances of pravāraṇā together. Make the announcement thus:)
