Third is the dedication equal to all buddhas. One emulates the dedications of the buddhas of the three periods of time; seeing pleasing or displeasing forms, one's mind is pure and without affection or aversion in dedication; one mentally dedicates toward the wonderful bliss of all buddhas; and dedicates toward bodhisattvas fulfilling all vows and realizing sarvajñā (all-knowledge). When sentient beings see the Buddha and hear the Dharma, one's mind draws near to the Saṃgha; and even though having a wife and children, one never departs from the bodhicitta; whatever four requisites and material goods one makes use of, without departing from the bodhicitta, one dedicates them all toward unsurpassed bodhi, without clinging to the five aggregates and all other phenomena; just as the bodhisattva dedication known by the buddhas, so too am I. The third dedication is named the dedication equal to all buddhas. Therefore, the third is abandoning the obstacle of small mental objects and conceptualization in cultivating the path, causing one to cultivate the practice of purifying the buddha-lands; this is the third dedication.
