Sixth is the dedication conforming to all firm roots of goodness. If becoming a king, one obtains a superior land, peaceful, prosperous, and joyous, down to the seven treasures; one accomplishes a firm Nārāyaṇa-body, departs from karmic obstacles, attains pure karma, gives away inner and outer possessions, rescues prisoners from jail, substitutes one's own body for those facing death, and even gathers all gifts of generosity. When one conforms to all firm roots of goodness, then one conforms to everything, from all buddhas down to conforming to purity. Having dedicated in this way, one causes all sentient beings to attain the Tathāgata's teachings and all buddhas to rejoice; in each and every practice there is no contradiction; with firm roots of goodness, one dedicates toward the other shore; this is named the dedication conforming to all firm roots of goodness.
